If you want to delete a Facebook page that you manage, follow these steps to successfully remove the page from your account:

Log In to Your Facebook Account:

Log in to your Facebook account using your credentials.

Go to Your Page

Click on the “Pages” option in the left-hand menu. This will take you to a list of all the pages you manage.

Select the Page

Click on the page you want to delete. This will take you to the page’s dashboard.

Access Page Settings

Once you’re on the page’s dashboard, click on “Settings” located in the upper right corner of the page.

General Settings

In the left-hand menu, click on “General.” This will bring up the general settings for the page.

Remove Page

Scroll down until you find the “Remove Page” section. Click on the “Edit” button next to “Remove Page.”

Confirm Deletion

A confirmation dialog will appear, explaining the consequences of deleting the page. If you’re sure you want to proceed, click on the “Delete [Page Name]” button.

Re-enter Password

To confirm your decision, you will need to re-enter your Facebook password in the provided field.

Delete Page

Click on the “Save Changes” button to initiate the deletion process.

Page Scheduled for Deletion

Once you’ve completed the steps, your page will be scheduled for deletion. The deletion process may take up to 14 days. During this period, you’ll have the option to cancel the deletion if you change your mind.

Important Notes

  • Recovery Period: Facebook allows a 14-day recovery period after initiating the deletion process. If you log in and cancel the deletion within this timeframe, your page will be restored with all its content intact.
  • Permanent Deletion: After the 14-day recovery period, your page and all its content will be permanently deleted. This action cannot be undone.
  • Page Admins: Only page admins with full permissions can delete a Facebook page.
  • Content Backup: Before deleting a page, consider downloading or saving any important content, posts, images, or videos that you want to keep.

Keep in mind that Facebook’s interface and processes may change over time, so it’s advisable to double-check the steps on the Facebook Help Center or on the Facebook website if you encounter any variations.

Note: Delete a Facebook page is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Make sure you truly want to delete the page before proceeding.
